Catalytic Oxidation of NO by Ozone over Mn-Ce/Al2O3/TiO2 Catalyst

In this study, Mn-Ce/Al2O3/TiO2 catalyst prepared by impregnation method was used for synergistic O3 oxidation NO. The impregnating Al2O3/TiO2 at a Mn:Ce molar ratio of 4:1 showed the best catalytic activity. performance that when and volume O3:NO 1:4, removal rate NO could reach 63%, which increase 40% compared with oxidized alone. BET, XRD, TEM characterization results 4:1, specific surface area, pore capacity were largest. A large amount MnOx CeOx distributed on surface. XPS analysis oxidation-reduction oxygen vacancy Mn (IV)/Mn (III)/Mn (II) Ce (IV)/Ce (III), had effect decomposition into reactive species(O*), thus improving O3. O2-TPD vacancies species in be as active point O*. experimental show can significantly improve efficiency ozone reduce ozone. applied to denitrification technology.
